Default Pro Tools 12.6 Not Recognising SD2

Hello,

I can't get PT 12.6 to see my installed & functioning Superior Drummer2.
Apologies for so many screenshots attached.

As can be seen in the attached screenshots, I have SD2 installed and working correctly in Logic Pro X 10.2.

I received instructions from SD Support as follows:
"When setting the path in Superior Drummer you should not navigate all the way in to the "Sounds" folder but stop the path at the Main library folder.
For the Core Avatar library for example the path is: Library/Application Support/Superior Drummer/SL-Avatar (not the Sounds folder within the SL-Avatar folder)"

The screenshot of the LPX SD2 'path' clearly shows it linking to my HDD not my SSD.
The Pro Tools screenshots show that this 'path' is not being recognised by PT to link to SD2.

In fact one of the PT shots says that SD2 is not even installed, which is obviously not the case, as I can record / playback with SD2 in LPX, and it is clearly installed on my iMac...

Any and all advice / suggestions appreciated.
Many Thanks...

Hi

The info I am going by is that PT 12 doesn't read SD2 files.

This thread might be of help as it explains some workarounds:

Best wishes

Thanks for your reply,

I'm actually talking about Superior Drummer 2 not Sound Designer 2, so any info you have to help resolve this would be great, as I've been trying to get this sorted via Toontrack forums / support as well as Avid etc with no success.
