WIN & Onyx 820i connectivity issues?

Mackie Onyx 820i is a FireWire 8 x 2 Analog Mixer with built-in ADDA Interface. FW400 cable from Onyx to SIIG PCI FireWire Class Compliant card. Mackie Universal Driver version 1.9 ASIO that supports Pro Tools 10. Windows 7 Playback Devices in Sound will not display Onyx as a playback device option. I'm out of ideas. Thoughts?

I know it's hard to believe in this day and age, but Mackie tech support actually answers the phone and answers it pretty darned quick, too. And the people who answer are quite good at I/O troubleshooting. Phone is their preferred method of communication. If you're not in the US, you can Skype phone them for pennies.

My Onyx Blackbird was auto detected, so I'm sorry I can't personally offer a solution.

...and right you are Steve. Took the unit back to the shop to cross reference it and DOA. So you get the price Steve. The cheque is in the mail.

New unit is being shipped down from Nelson. Should be tomorrow or the next day.
