Default Command8 Instructions are Misleading

Just purchased a command8 for my HD system. The instructions are mis-leading. It specifically says "None" when setting up the midi in AMS for this device, and even shows just port 2-3 in the picture. . . Well you can not set it up as a controller unless you assign the port. . . It also says it should show as on line once AMS is setup, but that is not true either. I seems it must be properly setup in ProTools before the "OffLine" msg disappears. The 2 problems add together for confusion. Very poor job on the installation document, and it wastes my time. . .
