Default External Devices

How do I connect outboard gear to a channel in PT? I now I have to use the in/outs on the digi 001. But how do I assighn it to a channle in my mix?

There are a few ways, involving aux sends, aux inputs, and submixes. You'll find detailed instructions in the Basic Mixing & Advanced Mixing sections under the Mixing chapter in the manual.
