Default 002 on sale

I've noticed in a couple of stores that there is some sale on the 002 and command 8 together (even here in iceland where deals like this never come all the way). I know a similar post has been done before, but is this a sign of something new coming, or should I just try to grab one of theese sales, because I'm really thinking of upgrading from mbox to 002 + command 8? The main reason is offcourse because if there is something new coming then I raher want to check that out, you know don't want to get in the dilemma you 001 users are in. Basicly what I'm asking is, do you think this is a sign of something new coming or not? (Also, if there was something new coming, why didn't they show it on winter NAMM 2006?)

Default Re: 002 on sale

do computers change every 6 months?

The point is, I personally would grab any deal that I feel is a good bargain for something I might want to purchase.

Lets say the 003 came out, how much more benefits would it have over a OO2 and command 8 set-up? If you cant get the job done with the latter set-up then your letting the technology constraints control the music. Let inspiration make the music, and not getting stuck in having the latest greatest thing.

Grab the bargain, save the money and get the deal!

Like does everyone really know every feature in PTLE 7.0? In summary, OO3 wont be any better than a 001. Cuz in the end, you can always use your choice of pre-amps and the only real limit in music making is your creative mind.
