A Rappers Tribute - Dilemma
A 14 year old kid that came to my studio last year recorded a few rap songs. Unfortunately he got shot and killed in Chicago this year. His agents however still want to record one of the songs he did in my studio but only need his voice not the whole track. The problem is that I've deleted the files and only have a mixed copy. Any ideas on how to extract his voice from the mixed wave file.

Re: A Rappers Tribute - Dilemma
You could try doing the inverse of a "karaoke" voice removal filter, but it will likely sound like crap. As far as I know, you're stuck with it. Anyone else know something different?
PS- Very sad about the kid, that really sucks. What a waste. |
