Yeah, it's the second happy accident this song.
When I updated from ANA 2.0 to 2.5 the preset order changed and the sound that replaced the previous one was the sound I've been looking for!

The song vibes now:)

Still weird though about the random notes. Arpeggiator is off. No controller data in the drop-down lanes.
I tried turning different things off in the synth preset params. Tried both note "restart" & legato when triggering successive notes. Still happens with both.

Once I finish editing I won't have to continuously stop and play back sections so much.
Normal playback is fine.

One thing you might check is doing a commit to audio. I wonder if the glitch would still show up on the audio. Have you tried that to see what happens?

I can recall it happening once before when committing to audio in a different session some time back. A reset & re-do worked. I may have re-opend the session.
We'll see if it happens again when I'm ready to commit the tracks in this session!

If it does, I'll deactivate/reactivate the instrument rather than restart the session.

Next to that, I'm going to take the advice in your signature and never believe anything I hear in a song.
