I'm seeing the grid issues here.

Highly offensive language. Sad.

OK. Stop with the PC/woke thing and get back on topic.
Janne; apologize.

Nothing to do with PC/woke, so let's not do that.

It's just offensive. Period.

Ha ! the humorous irony is of course, that it is totally PC to label any thinking you think is a bit too progressive for your personal perspective , or anything that you don't like, don't want to acknowledge or deal with ,, as woke What a friggin' world

So back to OP:
on another forum a fellow that works in Post in LA has reported some kind of plugin issue

Here is his Quote: Almost all plug-ins develop a strange distortion and if left open long enough, it builds into what I'd describe as clock problems. A rhythmic, repetitive distortion. That's with no audio present. There are some plug-ins that appear to work. ?????????????????

I've had PT open for hours on end and there's no hint of such issues. I've not even heard of this from anyone else. I'd guess it's an unfortunate but unique problem, seemingly related to hardware/software interaction.

No, but I had 2020.12 and 2022.12 beta on M1 mini since december, and it worked very nicely. I could switch between the 2020 and 2022, both sharing the same plugin folder, and switching Rosetta on/off and it was totally smooth.
