It was definitely a problem back when PT was a 32-bit app and it couldn't work with more than 4GB oF RAM (not enough to get all plugin into memory that first time), but since PT11(ish) it should be able to load everything in without issue. Unless you have overall RAM limitations. How much RAM do you have?

Regardless, your comment about loading 1/2 at a time is a solid workaround. I'm just saying that it *shouldn't* be necessary with as far as PT is concerned.

I fully agree that I *shouldn't have to but I'm assuring you that it's become a routine problem for me, probably for years now. I have 64GB of ram on an M1 Max so ram isn't the issue. I'm also someone who routinely updates all plugins so that I'm not using oldies.

Well yes that's plenty of RAM and a modern computer. I'm not sure what's going on there but it definitely shouldn't be doing that. Have you contacted Avid support?

He's asking about issues with 2023.3 so it is on topic.

Hi - I have a new M2 Pro Mac Mini and I have waited until today to plug in my iLok and give PT a go because of this non-beta release for apple silicon.

Have not tried very much yet, but all 3 of the play/synth/groovecell plugs just open with an empty black window. I have them activated on my iLok so I don't think that's a problem... Not even sure what else to check. I installed basically everything via Avid link but I also tried the stand alone installers.. Any help is appreciated.. thx

***wow my profile is out of date - please ignore all of that lol***

Mac Studio with a PTN card in a chassis.

Installed the HD Driver, Installed ProTools update.

Everything worked great for me. I restarted and got an error message to increase buffer size/it may be a sync error.

Installed OS update (Ventura). Same error.

I restarted in safe mode (hold shift).

All is perfect.

I need to give Waves some money. Everything else (SoundToys, Eventide, SSL, NI, Sonnox, UA) works as expected.

Grid issues here when tempo is anything but 120 - grid numbers aren't whole numbers, I made a separate post. Anyone else seeing this?

Tested here with different tempo values and got no such error.

Grid works as expected, with whole numbers that escalates into subdivisions according with the zoom level

Isn't Melodyne 5.2 native on Silicon Macs as stated on the Celemony website ?

What do I don't understand in the Apple Silicon / Rosetta concept ?
Thanks.
