Hi everyone,

I'm mixing 5.1 documentaries for tv in 5.1 and LtRt.
I use the Neyrinck SoundCode plugin.

When I use the version 5.1 - LtRt - I get a difference of level in the mix, not so much in the ear, more in the meters (dorrough hardware).
But when I use the version 5.1 - Stereo - It sounds more truth to my 5.1 mix. Perfect.

So I prefer to use this second way.
I know that each channel has it own Delivery Specification, but how does the plugin works in these 2 different versions? Would it be ok to deliver stereo instead of LtRt for most channels? Nat Geo? Discovery?

Most people limit or 'contain' the LtRt to the required level. I would think you would need to deliver an LtRt, but you'd have to check the specifications on your deliverables.

A lot of stations don't even use your 2track. They create their own from the 5.1.
All my 2tracks have been spot on with 5.1 to ltrt and reads -24 Lkfs as the 5.1 does

As stated, deliver what they ask for not what you prefer.
