UAD Apollo & a D-Command
I'm thinking of replacing my Digi 002 interface with a UAD Apollo. But it seems to me that the D-Command needs the Digi 002 in order to work, right? Wrong?
Can I toss my 002 and just go with the Apollo? Does monitoring become a nightmare? Any downsides? Will it even work? (I'm on a Mac Tower 8 core, Snow Leopard, Pro Tools 9) |

Re: UAD Apollo & a D-Command
I haven't done a hard look at the Apollo's I/O but I don't see why it wouldn't work the same as the 002

Re: UAD Apollo & a D-Command
I bought the Apollo and it works great. The "low latency" menu item in Pro Tools is even still there and works as advertised.
Couldn't be happier. |

DaleB,
Do you mind sharing your experiences with the Apollo-XMON combo? Setup, wiring, flaws…etc? Thanks |
