Need help from Powerbook users
Hi,
I am an audio post engineer that has been doing an awful lot of mixing these past couple of years. I am thinking of buying a Powerbook to do some of this mixing since my portable system is not as portable as I would like. I do need help in figuring out how many L1 and L2 limitiers I can get in LE running on a 1.5gig powerbook. I generally need to have about 1 C4, 2 L2s and maybe 5 at the most L1 limiters. Can the 1.5ghz Powerbook handle this in OSX 10.3.4 with PT 6.4? If anyone who runs a powerbook of any speed try this out I would appreciate it/ BTW I never have more than about 16 tracks. Thanks in advance |

Re: Need help from Powerbook users
shouldn't be a problem; however, i cannot confirm this as i don't have those waves plugs you use... i only have the renaissance collection & musicians bundle. anyway, using 16 tracks you should be able to use any plugs you want to, if you keep reverbs at a reasonable count
