Sampletank 2 and G5 Performance from IK Tech Suppo *DELETED*
This is a very important info about *Apple G5 computers*.
They uses a power handling system that continuously adjust the processor speed in order to optimize the performance and the system heat dissipation. This is going to make our plug-ins to work very badly because the CPU load may spike and behave completely uneven. This feature must be disabled on all G5's used for real-time audio applications. To disable this the user should go to "System Preferences" --> "Energy Saver" --> "Options" and select Highest for the CPU speed control.

Re: Sampletank 2 and G5 Performance from IK Tech Suppo
is this feature related to the OS itself or just the G5?

Re: Sampletank 2 and G5 Performance from IK Tech Suppo
It's just on G5s I think, but more importantly does this affect performance of PTLE itself?
