I installed PT, X-form and Synthcell, all 2023.3, and tested a few sessions, and all seems well. I didn't time it, but I have impression that sessions load a bit faster - just like, if you just closed one, and open it again, as if its laying ready in RAM, but this is just after PT launch.

Oh well, the beta has been working so well for me that I'm not expecting much difference - I'm hoping for not much difference.
Maybe the flickering cursor bug… let me check…

Is it because I'm still working on a Mac Pro 5.1 that I don't get why there is two distinct sections in "known Issues" part ?

Are M2 macs included in the second section ?...

I'm excited about the majority of features.

But nooo!

"Pro Tools 2023.3 now automatically makes sure that all new clips added to a tick-based track are analyzed, ensuring that all clips stretch appropriately with a tempo change."

If Melodyne analyzes every clip you record onto that track, you will for sure be hanging with the "Saving ARA Data" all of the time.

I will now have to make sure all tracks that use Melodyne are sample based unless I am changing tempos.

They should have kept this as a manual thing per clip. Or at least an option to make it a manual thing per clip on Tick based tracks.

Actually that's a good question - I have the TC/E version anyway so can't tell. I think it may just be for elastic audio - hopefully someone can confirm or deny.

Lot's of bug fixes her for my room with ATMOS, but was hoping to see some news on a Dolby plugin insert in PT, but guessing that is down the road still. maybe NAB or later.

After installing 2023.3 on a M1Max Studio, I kept getting a 6001 error at launch. I had to - you guessed it - "delete preferences" and restart the Mac. Now it loads and is able to playback sessions. Obviously only A/S native plugins appear now.

Synth Cell is a blank empty black window here and/because? I have no iLok license for it yet.

Elastique pro is indeed included and sounds crazy good compared to “polyphonic” about a thousand times better! Yay!!
