Guys, please listen to this. I am picking up a high end presense of some kind when using the eleven rack. I have moved it away from the imac monitor. I even ran an extension cord into the kitchen from the bedroom. No matter what I've done it's not fixed it. Very annoying. I am using quality cables. Guitar is fine when recording without the eleven r. I have ran every test I can think of. It almost sounds the like gain is turned up on the unit, but I am recording straight clean. I turned up the volume in this clip so you can hear it at the beginning. Please help.

Have you tried using a different USB port?

What about a different USB cable?

Are your drivers up-to-date?

What happens if you try raising the buffer?

Does this happen on EVERY clean patch or just that one?

Do you have a bunch of plugins open in the session?

No plug-ins at all.
I will try a different buffer setting and report back.
Do you happen to know what the latest drivers are? If not, no biggie I can look them up.

I'll also check the other clean patches.

I will say I am just recording through the 11R. Not connected to pro tools. I am going out of the 11R into a Fast Track solo interface because I am using Pro Tools Express.

How are you connected to the Fast Track Solo? That could be where you are picking up the noise.

According to your Signature you have Pro Tools 11.1,

Do you still get this distortion if you use the Eleven Rack as the interface in PT11?
