Default saving settings

I have been having a problem with my virtual instruments not saving settings when I use them with MIDI tracks. For example, I might use NI B4 with a particular preset. When I play back the MIDI track, the program switches to another preset. I had the same problem today with Albino and the Korg M1 from the Legacy Collection. I have searched the manuals and cannot find an explantion for this. I am using PT LE 6.8 on a PC. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Are you sure you don't have a program change command on the MIDI track?

That was the problem. I didn't notice that this was only happening on MIDI files I imported from elsewhere. I had never used that command before for a MIDI track. Thanks for your help.
