Hi !

Im trying to use battery 2 and protools 6.4
And the problem is that i cant get the multiple outputs from battery 2
I make the following i open the B2 on aux Channel then the midi channel
everything is ok.Then i rec a midi withh a setting and everything ok.
Next i assign the DFD extension app to select the 32 mono channel
But when i open the audio channel there is no option to select the battery input.

I had Battery2, I sold it because I couldn't get multiple outs working on.

Now I'm on Reason Drum Kits 1, but I'm saving for BFD. My friend has it, and ************* BFD rules!!!

Multiple outputs weren't introduced in Pro Tools until version 6.7, so you will need to upgrade if you want to use them at all. Also, I'm pretty sure Battery still has problems with multiple outputs on windows; NI just keeps coming out with new stuff and not fixing current products.

I have to second the BFD opinion. I have it, it's great, and it works great with multiple outputs (on versions of PT that support it).

Which is why PT users shouldn't waste money on NI stuff.

Just so the world knows, I am able to use mulitple outputs using Battery2 running PTLE7 on XP.

I understand many have had trouble with NI. At first I did, but relocating some of my samples for Acoustic Piano to a different HD alleviated all troubles. No crashes since. (knock-on-wood)

Their instrument plug-ins are all I seem to use lately.

NI released a patch for the RTAS multi out problem in February. It's available in the protected downloads section of the NI web site. As spkguitar mentioned you'll still have to upgrade your Pro Tools software. At this time Battery 2 is still not optimized for PTLE7 but it works.
