Are there plans to abolish Core Audio HW I/O Limit?
Now that it has been announced that PT2019 will get a voice count increase of 128 I would love to know if there are any plans to abolish the arbitrary I/O bottleneck of 32 for HD/Ultimate users using Core Audio?
It seems that AVID's business model is now pretty much completely software based and with the HDN card being almost a decade old would it not make sense to let Core Audio users roam free (provided they have the appropriate license)? I doubt this would deter users from purachasing AVID hardware (HDX in particular) but may bring old time users back to the platform (myself included).
