Upgraded to Pro Tools

Just upgraded from Pro Tools | First to Pro Tools. Do I need to download it or is it automatic from purchasing it.

This is how I would do it:
1-uninstall PTFirst and reboot
2-assuming a single iLok, open iLok manager and de-activate the license for PT First.
3-activate the license for Pro Tools(drag it onto your iLok)
4-download and install Pro Tools from your MyAvid account>MyProducts page

Why would you uninstall Pro Tools | First? This is a separate application from Pro Tools and both can live side by side. Also, two separate iLok licenses, so no need to de-acticate the PR First license from your iLok Account.

I have both apps on my computer and switch between them when working with people who only have PT First. When you are using the same AVID Master Account, you can work on the same Pro Tools Project (Not Pro Tools Session!) open it in Pro Tools | First or Pro Tools | (Ultimate). Of course, PT First can use only features that are implemented in that app.
