Default Oxygen 8 v2 and Pro Tools

Is there a Pro Tools template that can be used with the Oxygen 8? How can I get those codes? Does anybody know how to get them?

I gave you instructions on this in your other thread.

The "codes" you are looking for are
  1. on the turorial page that I've already linked you to
  2. On page 77 of the MIDI Control Surfaces Guide which is also linked from my tutorial page, which I have already linked you to

As a matter of fact, the Oxygen 8 has the same controls as the Axiom, so the assignment should be identical.
  • Global channel 16
  • knobs B1-9 = cc's 64-71 (track volume controls)
  • Button REW = cc 19 (rewind)
  • Button FFW = cc 20 (fast forward)
  • Button STOP = cc 21 (stop)
  • Button PLAY = cc 22 (play)
  • Button REC = cc 23 (record)

All you have to do is follow the instructions on the tutorial page I linked you to, download and install the enigma software, and then reprogram the keys with those values.

Thanks again..Im a 86 yrs old drummer..Im a little slow (haha, kidding..) I think I tried that last night..I followed the instructions, I downloaded the Enigma software, but it didnt work.. I will try again tonite. Surely, i did something wrong. Also, when I select the JL Cooper CS-10 profile on the Peripherals list, there is a message that says that the Original MIDI device cannot be found. (something like that) I dont know if that has something to do with it..

Is your oxy 8 installed properly? Are you selecting the oxy 8 on the "Receive From" and "Send To" section of the peripherals dialog?

Did you download the proper Legacy MIDI controllers for your version of Pro Tools? You mentioned in your other thread that you were using Pro Tools 7, but is that 7.0? 7.1? 7.3? There are different legacy MIDI controller versions for each; did you download and install the right one?

Yes, that should be the correct one.

Do you have the program loaded up on the oxy? That's the only other thing I can think of that might be wrong.

Also, can you please post the exact error message you are getting? "Something like that" is really hard to troubleshoot.

hi .. im still having dificulties with the oxy 8. I already set up everything and it works.. the transport buttons work. But, they are not correctly assigned. The REW button acts like the STOP button. The FF acts like the PLAY. Im setting all the CC corectly the way you posted it. What am I doing wrong? haha..
