Suggestions for Automation Trouble?

I have 111 GB of space, using only 2 GB. Running OS 9, Automedia III card.

I have 512 MB of memory. The comp came w/ 256 and I installed another 256.

Everything was working great, I could have 5 SansAmps automated going on in a mix, along with tons of other automated effects, no prob.

Recently, the comp crashed and I took it to Apple and they recovered everything and also installed a new hard drive, which Ive designated as my Music Hard drive.

Now when I try to run just one Sans Amp plugin with automation, the automation does not respond properly. Very erratic behavior, the automation points are there but the effect doesn't obey them, the effect stays on, affecting the whole track beyond the automation points, etc.

Although the other plugins automated seem to be ok, I know Sans Amp needs a lot of ram to operate but my 512MB seems to be there, as before.

Any suggestions?

I tried deleting the SansAmp from the Plugins DAE folder and reloading it from a CD...but the problems still persist, and it seems to be a sanamp problem exclusively. Its as is I dont have enough power to run it anymore. Could this be an allocation problem or something? Has anyone ever had something like this going on??

My automation is also up the spout (buggered).
i'm having to Audiosuite everything.
tried to fix it but to no avail.
i think it's one of those problems that requires a total re-install, you know, the ones that make you want to commit crimes.
