Mbox Pro 3 - No Gain or Volume Control
Just got the new mbox 3 pro. Reset everything to default in the I/O settings. I can hear my guitar, but I can not control the gain or volume--moving the knobs does absolutely nothing. Anyone else seeing a similar issue?

Re: Mbox Pro 3 - No Gain or Volume Control
So, as any new user to such an interface, I made a mistake in thinking that I could plug my guitar into a "Line In." I found out that the "line in's" do not have built in pre-amps; thus, I would need to run the signal through an amp before plugging my guitar/bass/etc. into such a port.
In conclusion, I needed to plug into one of the front XLR combo jacks--they have the built in pre-amps necessary for my situation. |
