Exclamation Pro Tools 10 Side Chaining Issue

Hey guys,
I've been having a recurring problem where my side chain compression will just start sounding differently with the same settings. I really don't know what it is. I have been using the Compressor 3 that comes with Pro Tools and it works perfectly and sounds great until this mysterious point. This is not the only session where it has happened.

I was just wondering if anyone has had similar problems and/or knows how to fix it. If it helps, my sessions have frequently been running low on memory, but not the sessions that this happens to.

Thanks guys
