Default 96 I/O Stored in a rack on it\'s side?

Just moving things around, and if I store a rack on it's side, it would help with the space. Any reasons I shouldn't use a 96 I/O on it's side?

Only 2 other devices in that rack:
MIDI Interface
Patchbay

I don't think there would be any problems with that. I don't know if the 96 I/O has a fan on the side like the 192 I/O but I would make sure that the fan is up if it has one.

It does have a fan, on the left side. Good idea. I'll face that up.

Don't forget that the air intake is on the right. No cool air in means a burnout no matter how good the extraction fan is.

There's a gap in the "rack bag", that is wide enough for me to get my fingers in there - both sides. Should be plenty for airflow I'm hoping.

You should be able to tell if the unit is struggling to keep cool, because you'll hear the fan kick into high gear and make a lot more noise.
