Mismatched AVID Control App

So thank you for the new EUCON version, please update the Control App! I have non-functioning iPads for my S1 and Dock. Anyone else seeing this?

Will EUCON be supported by all tiers?
Yes, though as of the release of 2022.4 all 3 stores had Avid Control still in their approval process. Please check the store for your platform prior to updating EuControl software.

I heard just a bit ago that it was approved on the Google store (sorry that doesn't help you I know, just FYI that there's progress). We anticipate the others approving very soon.

Bit of an FYI for folks- this happens pretty much every time a new Eucontrol is released so I only have myself top blame.

Once again I've installed the latest Eucontrol (2022.4) and then gone to update the App Store only to find that the app isn't on the App Store yet.

Time to roll back to 2021.x.

We are getting a "Version Mismatch" between Avid Control and EuControl. We have the latest App Store version of Avid Control and the new EuControl, version 2022.4.0.78.

This has rendered our Avid Dock inoperable and with the Avid Dock being 90% of our workflow this is quite concerning.

We have tried to begin a case, but found the process confusing, so alas we are here, hoping for some help.

We have an active Pro Tools Flex licence.

If you have/had a previous version of Pro Tools and/or Eucon, I would roll back to that while waiting for a better solution

From Avid. Have ensured both are current and correct. Still inoperable. New Avid Control coming today, perhaps?

Avid doesn't have control over exactly when the apps get approved and posted on the various app stores (Apple, Google, Amazon, etc) - Avid submits them to the stores and it can take anywhere from days to weeks for them to be approved and posted. Personally, I keep "auto-update" turned off on the tablets running Control and wait until I *know* the store versions are up to date before upgrading Eucon and Control together.
