Pro Tools keeps doing strange errors
1. Memory violations
2. Sometimes it says that Pro Tools is running really low in memory even when I hardly have anything loaded in it. 3. The other day I got an error I've never had before. When I saved my project, it said it couldn't save because the session was "end of stream". I could not open the session anymore either. It said something like this.... Pro Tools "start up session commmand has been disabled because of an end of stream error"??? 4. Pro Tools always has problems every time I save a project. I mainly get something like an access violation error or something like this, and also memory violations when yet again I've hardly reached the limit. This only happeneds when I save a project. I know when the problem has happened because when I save, at first it doesn't save, then I save again and I have to shut PT down. Also, PT decides to delete it's own sessions off my hard drive when I save my projects and this is just [bleep][bleep][bleep][bleep]ting me up the wall because I keep losing my work! Here's a sandra report. Re: Pro Tools keeps doing strange errors
Is this happening to all you sessions or just a certain one?

Re: Pro Tools keeps doing strange errors
Have you done this?
Delete Digidesign Databases and Preferences To delete Digidesign Database folders for all hard drives in Windows 7: * Go to your Start menu and click on Computer. * Double-click on the C: drive. * Double-click on Program Files. * Go to the Digidesign folder. * Go to the Pro Tools folder. * Right-click on the Databases folder and delete it. * NOTE: If you are using Pro Tools HD, DV Toolkit 2 or Complete Production Toolkit, you will want to backup your Catalogs folder before deleting the Databases folder. To delete Pro Tools preference files in Windows 7: * Go to your Start menu and click on Computer. * Double-click on the C: drive. * Double-click on Program Files. * Go to the Common Files folder. * Go to the Digidesign folder. * Go to the DAE folder. * Right-click on the DAE Prefs folder and delete it. * Go back to your C: drive. * Double-click on Users. * Double-click on your user name. * Go to the AppData folder. * NOTE: If the Appdata is not showing, click on Organize and choose 'Folder and Search Options'. * Click on the View tab. * Select 'Show Hidden Files and Folders'. * Click Apply and OK. AppData should now be viewable. * Go to the Roaming folder. * Right-click on the Digidesign folder and delete it.

Re: Pro Tools keeps doing strange errors
You can also delete the WaveCache.wfm and the Fade Files from the session folder.
It has fixed problems I have had before when trying to save a session.

Re: Pro Tools keeps doing strange errors
I've done all the deleting preferences stuff. I di this today before I opened up everything. It seems to be doing on this certain one, worse than the others and I don't know why!
I really want to get my work done. There has to be a number or something. Gahhh I'm glad I got a response though. I tried the cs2 update and that didn't do much either. This is never ending........... really

Re: Pro Tools keeps doing strange errors
I'm not sure if I'm supposed to delete the pref folder everytime I load up the computer next or. Someone said you only need to do it once which would make sense because you don't want to be changing the prefs all the time.
Where is someone from DIGI!!
