Re: PT9 bounce error 6101
I have the same problem. but, I try bouncing sessions made it in pro tools 8.0.4 and show me an error that said that need increase the buffer size(in 8.0.4, I can bounce in 512mb buffer size). in pro tools 9, I can't do it.... I guess that is a problem related with the optimization of the software. we need wait for the next update.

Re: PT9 bounce error 6101
Just found that thread here.
Is that issue now solved ? Are you both on OS X ? Have you tried installing it on Windows 7 x64 just to try if it works ? |

Re: PT9 bounce error 6101
Are you guys using secondary internal drives or external firewire drives?
Are you using convert after bounce or during?

Re: PT9 bounce error 6101
I am having a problem where the first bounce works fine, but if I try to bounce again Pro Tools will crash immediately.
PT 9/iMac Core 2 Duo 2.66/2Gb Ram/PT9/Mbox 2 Pro External FW 500Gb Seagate 7200rpm convert after bounce or no conversion All plugs updated and all troubleshooting procedures have been done. Last edited by chroma17; 12-03-2010 at 10:08 AM. Reason: mo' details |

Re: PT9 bounce error 6101
I have been using a different internal HD 300gb 7200rpm from the HD used by the MacosX and the problem is the same. I remember when I upgrade from pt7.4 to pt8 the bounce problem was relate with the use of the pro tools resources and with the updates was solve the problem . I guess that is a problem related with that, the resources that use pt9 to work. I hope that the update could give for us the solution!

Re: PT9 bounce error 6101
I found a possible solution!! if you had an interface that can work at 96khz, you can save your sessions at 96khz and the 2048 buffer size option appears! and you can do the bounce.
