PT crashing when click setup---I/O

Hi Guys! I need help, I'm chasing my tail for the past 6 hours and I'm about to put my complete HD rig in the garbage...

yesterday, everything was A1, but today, every time I click on I/O in the setup menu, my protools crash, even without any session opened, nothing changed since...
sound pass in protools, and when using the HD card with the OS too

before asking, here is all the details of my rig and everything I tried--->

Protools 2021.3.1
HD Driver 2021.3.1
Mojave 10.14.6 (mac pro)

Avid HD Native Thunderbolt
Avid 8x8x8
Avid Omni
All units firmware are up to date and pass digitest

I tried--->

using each devices separately, new BNC cables for digi-loop, different digi-link cable, different PORT on the native, different thunderbolt port on my mac, downgrading to PT 2020 including HD driver (not working), trashing the prefs, open a session with another soundcard to reset all bus/in/out data, uninstalling and reinstalling protools, without any plugins in the plugins folder, closing all app on my mac that can interfere... everything that can come to mind....

I'm really frustrated right now......

Have you tried (A) trashing all preferences or then head to (B) test with a new Admin User?

I did A, but not B (only one admin account on the computer)

I am currently doing a fresh Mojave install, I’ll keep you updated !

quick update, fresh OS install resolved the problem, I hope it doesn't happen again... haha
