Are you talking about on a tt bay? I've never seen anything that would do that(maybe if you explain why, someone will have another solution). If its a quarter inch bay, an XLR-TRS adapter might work with a small condenser mic, but I still don't imagine anything in the size you describe.

Hi Albee.
Thanks for your reply.
No, not TT.
I mean the xlr mic / line inputs in rack panels out in the live areas
So essentially it’s just a stubby little listen mic plugged straight into that tie line patch.

These things are amazing, if probably a little too sensitive for a live studio area. But amazing OMNI Mics. (yes, currently sold out).

Now that I understand the purpose, you might look into a boundary mic like the Shure SM-91 or Crown PCC-160. While these two might be too pricey, there are others from other makers at much lower prices(search eBay for boundary microphone and see what pops up. I used several PCC-160's(1 on my control room desk, one on the producer's desk and one on the ceiling of the drum booth) and they worked great. I had an EV model(sorry I can't remember what model it was) on the wall of my main room. All fed AUX tracks with compressors, followed by Sound Radix Mute-o-Matic plugin so all the talk mics muted whenever I rolled transport. Hanging a mic right off the wall panel puts it at risk of being busted.

Thank you everyone for your suggestions & tips . .
I love the DUC.
In these times of such polarisation, it's so nice to come here where people are focussed on this profession which we all love so much and are helpful & respectful. .
Have a great day & let's keep on making music, films scores & sounds . .
