Videos on Avid Home page do not play?

I didn't know where to post this, but if I go to the Avid Home page and log in with my account, and got here:

• Learn > Video Tutorials
• Product = Pro Tools
• Category = Fast Start

None of the videos will play and they show the attached error message.


Does any else get this error?

Thank you for reporting this to me.... I have alerted the web operations team in hopes they can fix it asap. No guarantee but as soon as I know it is fixed, I will post.

Assuming you are referring to the videos here:

they are working for me. Maybe try a different browser?

i'm on Safari and none of them work. its category Fast Start which you have to select the show more..... to see that.

That is the URL that has the 6 videos that are not working.

Marianna, for the record, it's not just the Fast Start ones, that's just an example. There are many that exhibit this error. Pretty much all of the ones under Pro Tools at least.

Hi again Bill

Thanks and I methodically went through them all and found the busted ones and reported those as well. It's not a quick fix as the video's are from a location and appication we no longer use and need to be transferred. The Marketing and wEB team has been notified and it looks like they missed these when the web site changes were made in the end of 2024.

So very sorry but thy will be fixed.

If you need any direction to other video's such as those on Youtube, reach out.

Marianna,

Did you move them? Because the steps in my first post don't include Fast Start as a Category. See screenshot. And 9 Pro Tools videos? That can't be right.
