Default Question about Grid mode... HELP!

I have a G4 400mhz 384 megs of ram running PT 5.1.1 LE....

In grid mode I am stuck with the grid lining up at 1 measure intervals. On the upper RIGHT portion in the edit window I see a box where I should be able to change the timing of the gride from 1 measure to 1/16 or whatever, but I don't have that option. My grid box is grey and does not have the pull down menu that the full version of PT has..... Is this right? I could have sworn that LE has the ability to change the grid spacing.....
Any help would be much appreciated!!

Thanks,

Chronos

I can tell you that yes you should be able to change your grid spacing but I haven't the foggiest as to why your pulldown is greyed out

The grid pull-down menu is grey, it's its normal color. You need to click on the little arrow on the right

David,

I don't have the pull down arrow. But I should right?

Is there a preference that locks the grid mode interval?

Thanks,
Chronos

If you click on the icon that looks like a sheet of paper with a pencil you should be able to edit or delete your own posts....

Chronos,

I just saw your studio featured in Keyboard Magazine (second to last page where they feature a different studio each month).

Very nice looking studio!

B. Ray,

Thanks man. I'm glad you like the studio.

---------------------------------------
Rail,

My screen resolution is 800 x 600 but I've also tried 1024 x 768. No dice. Even at 800 x 600 I can strech the edit window to include the grid pull down, but PT won't let me access the menu. My grid window doesn't have the arrow to pull down and change the interval. I even tried to go into the Tempo menu and set the resolution to 1/16 notes.... but nothing!

Any ideas???

Thanks,
Chronos
