Default midi drum template for protools?

hey, i'm wondering if there is a midi template for protools specific to making drum tracks. the midi grid is a disaster for penciling in the notes i can't get them in the right spots and the grid is too small, even on the jumbo setting. i just installed bfd and i would like to make custom drum tracks.
thanks, bill

Have you tried changing the grid? The grid can be set as large as whole notes and as small as 64th triplets.

Setting the grid value - page 418 of the Reference Guide

BFD also contains a ton of MIDI grooves (templates). You can audition them on the BFD interface to find the one(s) you like, and then ctrl+drag them to a MIDI track (in version 7.x).
