Default And so it has come to pass....

I just got a new jobat a studio here in Oklahoma. The only one I am aware of that has a Pro Tools HD3 system. Not only that, but I am the head engineer there. This is a very big deal for me, and this studio is amazing, and only has the potential to get better. Plus seeing as they are dependent on me for engineering I have free reign over the main studio and the the HD system. Which also means I can use it for my own personal projects. So my need of a home PTLE system has been reduced to Zero.

My recent interest in buying a high performance laptop to replace my desktop, has also gone.

Now I am going to get a new Powerbook, and with my mbox just maintain a mobile PTLE setup for remote recordings and mobile editing and such. And do all my mixing on the HD system, which is soo nice to work on BTW.

I am going to most likely be getting rid of my PC. At that point I will be strictly a mac user, just because I wont have a PC. So I basically will be moving most of my time to the mac ptle and mac tdm forums....

Just wanted to say its been fun, and after 18 years of PC use, I will not have one for once in my life.

Anyone want to buy a nice Athlon XP based PC that works flawlessly with PTLE???
