Import of transferred license into Avid account possible?

Good morning from rainy Germany!

I am wondering whether a PT license that has been transferred to my iLok account (after buying it s/h hand on eBay) can be somehow ‚imported’ into my Avid account as well?
Doing so would allow me to reinstate a new update and support plan for this license.
Or is it exactly THIS what Avid does not allow with a s/h license?

I already own a PT perpetual license (showing up in my Avid account) but was thinking whether my second (currently iLok-only) license might be imported into my Avid account as well?
I am about to reinstate a new USP after buying the activation code from a local dealer and could then choose which license to reinstate and which to keep in legacy state.

Have you done the Transfer Of Ownership paperwork?

No, as part of the sale, the seller took care of transferring the license and payed the respective costs.
I actually do not know whether he filled in the form (just googled the process) or was able to do the transfer using the iLok license manager only.
But I could ask the guy, still have his email address.
For me, it was just enough when the license showed up in my iLok account so I did not care at that time.
Does the result differ depending on how the transfer is carried out?

TOO should make it appear on your account

Thanks, I have just mailed the seller to find out how he did the transfer.

Do you happen to know whether the TOO paperwork is charged in addition to the transfer via iLok License Manager?
The respective guide says '... buy an ASC, open a case, and attach the TOO form ...' but then I would have to pay twice for the transfer of just one license?

I haven't done TOO in ages, but it should be free. Just paperwork where the seller gives Avid consent to transfer the ownership to the buyer. Once that is done, Avid Support should be able to add it into your account.
