Pro Tools 2023.9 and Catalina?

I notice on the requirements that Avid says Mac OS Catalina is no longer tested, but expected to work.


Has anybody been using Pro Tools 2023.9 with Mac OS Catalina 10.15.7 with success?

The Sketch plugin is know not to load/hang Pro Tools starting up on Mojave. No idea if that applies to Catalina, I'd expect Avid to know and have warned if so but who knows. (See https://duc.avid.com/showthread.php?t=425990)

Got ya! I'm not even too sure about what sketch is and if I'd even be using it; I'm more excited about getting the ARA for Melodyne, plugin reordering, and export selected range more :) Thanks for the reply!

2023.9 on Catalina (Intel MacMini.)
It seems fine here.

All working quite fine here (Catalina on Hackintosh Intel i9 10850k) except some graphic issue on send's pan pot on mixer view (can solve folding and expanding send's visualization). However I think graphic issues depend on Hackintosh. Maybe a Sketch issue when triyng to edit samples, but I tried it quickly and I'm not in studio now, so can't replicate now.
I think it's time for me to upgrade to Monterey at least, just to be on specs for next updates.
