Default AAX 64 bit plugs

I guess I'll be the first to start this mess: AAX 64 bit plugs - where are they? We know Avid's should be good to go as well as McDSP & Blue Cat Audio, but what about other plugin companies? Native Instruments has had AAX 32 bit for a while but no word on AAX 64 bit. Ditto for PSP. And fxpansion (BFD2) has said they would reportedly have AAX 64 bit for when PT11 drops but nothing from them.

I know PT11 just dropped a few hours ago but what the hey - might as well get this little bit of business going. I also know there's a list page that Avid has with AAX plugs so don't just point me there - some of that information is just plain wrong. If you tick AAX 64 bit native and check just a few things you'll see what I mean. All the Arturia stuff is wrong - they don't have ANY AAX support at all if you look at their website product pages. And that's just one example.

I know but I didn't want to go sideways with your thread which the plugin subject would engender. To put it mildly I'm not too nuts about doing the two-step of PT10 to PT11 repeat ad nauseam. And I suspect there's a lot of people that feel the same. For all the advantages that PT11 brings for heavy vi users that same sword is cutting both ways and will for quite some time I fear - and why I won't be going PT11 any time soon.

Well, that's the expectations part. Everyone needs to relax and ride the wave that is this AAX2 transition. It's all in the 3rd party devs hands now. They've had the SDK for over a year and builds of PT11 for 5 months.

5 months - the release of all releases and they still don't have it ready -???

But I wonder what will happen when avid officially comes out and says " its ready "

We might see some more action then

I emailed Waves support. They said their AAX plugs were not quite ready but would be released "very soon". I don't know who long "very soon" is.
