export multiple playlists
maybe a dumb question, but does anyone know how to export multiple playlists from a single track easily, e.g., i have multiple bounces of different mixes at 192k on a single track, and am exporting them to stereo 44.1k files for exporting, do i have to manually export every playlist? or is there an easier way?
thanks in advance, w/o a manual right now. |

Re: export multiple playlists
Does each playlist have a continuous region and requires no plug-in or automation? If so use Command+Shift+K (Export Regions as Files) after selecting the regions in the region list.

Re: export multiple playlists
thank you rail, that was the solution indeed. i appreciate it. is there any reason why the regions are listed in bold type and non-bold type? what is the difference between selecting one or the other?
thanks again. |

Re: export multiple playlists
Regions listed which are bold are complete audio files.

Re: export multiple playlists
got it, thanks. used to using other software platforms.... but i appreciate the help. too bad it won't export with the fades in that capacity, it only wants to take the region after the fade etc when selected.....

Re: export multiple playlists
If you have fades (not automation fades but fade files).. select all (Command+A).. then consolidate the track (Option+Shift+3)(on each playlist) - then Export as files.

Re: export multiple playlists
I think there's an easier way to get everything. if I understand your question, you wish to bring the playlists, fades, etc into a new session eslswhere at a differnt sample rate. If that's the case, open your new session at 44.1K ,and go to the file menu and choose "Import Session Data" and that will give you the options to import anything from the list, from fades to plug-ins and their settings. You can also change sample rates there, import tempo maps, and change compatibility to PC if even needed. Hope that's what you're looking for, and if not, sorry! Scott
