PT and Yahama drivers dont really get along....the last time i checked.
When I tried to use the Motif ES usb driver... it wasnt cool. Everything worked correctly when the Motif ES was powered up. But itf it was off....it screwed up PT's midi ports.. I haven't tried in a minute. so you might wanna double check
