Default Running 48 Tracks From An SD Card. We're Living In Great Times :)

Always on the cutting edge, I own a Lenovo X220 12.5" laptop with a 128GB Primary SSD. I installed a 120GB mSATA SSD as a secondary drive, purchased a Sandisk 64GB Extreme Pro SD Card and have 16GB of RAM. I'm able to run 48 tracks with heavy plug ins from a freakin' SD card!

Oh yeah, all of this with no hardware! Pro-Tools 10 on my laptop is blowing away PT 8 w/my 003 on my Desktop (a configuration which almost NEVER worked well).

I sure can record to it :) This is super! This is a truly portable rig! I have the OS on C: , Samples on D: , and am recording to E: , all on a 12.5" laptop :)

I can playback w/no audio card attached. I have an MBOX2, but may get the Komplete Audio 6 by NI :)
