jeez.. talk about taking your time. This was the single-most issue that forced me to switch to V-Meters, then WLM. Now I'm happy with those tools and am not looking back to the DMM.

Seriously. I still like the DMM... I actually both it and WLM... Maybe im too paranoid about QC!

Yeah, I'll use the WLM in real time (since it doesn't constantly hiccup the system like the DMM), then run the whole mix through the stand alone DMM for a QC check at the end.

This is years too late. We abandoned the DMM and switched to the WLM.

I've worked with both the DMM and the WLM. The DMM was problematic because of how inefficient it was, but I really appreciate how well its offline measurements and charting work compared to the WLM. That really is a big plus when you are trying to quickly analyze and rectify level issues. I'm glad they have an update out and I hope it deals with the efficiency issues.

Still use the DMM to measure Dolby E Files. Not sure if the others do that.

Has anyone attempted to use this? I'm still getting the usual CPU overload (-6101) messages after playing for 4 seconds!
