Default Looking for someone to mix an album in DC

We are looking for someone to mix an album (14 songs) in the DC area. The person we are likely to use, wants to mix everything through an analog console which is going to get expensive procuring enough D/A converters etc.

We are therefore looking at alternatives. All the tracking is done at 96khz on an HD3/192 system. I also have a control 24 if the person needs to mix it on our equipment.

I would try and mix it myself, however, I do not have enough experience to do the kind of "world class" job we are looking for. Plus I want to learn to see how the experts do it.

Thanks in advance for any leads or suggestions.

come to Nashville, and I can help you out....we have a 4 room facility, with everything from a Neve VR, SSL 4064, ProTool HD, blah blah blah, and a staff that's worked on every style of music you can imagine......the rates will astonish you.
email if you're interested ([email protected]).

Nashville Hmmmmmmmmmm. Might be an idea, I will talk to the band about it. Actually our keyboard players brother is in the music biz in Nashville John Reynolds (I think his band is called Without Ruth). Might make a nice road trip

I have a beautiful enormous mobile HD5 system in NYC. It can cart down to DC and be setup in 20 minutes (I've clocked it!).

I can deliver great mixes. I've worked under the top guys in NYC. I can send you a credit list and song samples.
