This is a software only licence. I have checked with Avid and sale is permitted. The buyer fills in a transfer of ownership form which means Avid can move all downloadable content from my account to yours. There is also a $79.95 fee as THIS needs to be purchased. Half of this will be added to the final sale figure agreed.

This license is a perpetual one. I currently have a renewal on it which ends Dec 22nd 2016. Only after this point can the license be transferred. A new buyer would then have 30 days until Jan 22nd 2017 to renew the upgrade and support package at a cost of $399. If the new buyer does not do it within this timescale a reinstatement fee is then required to access upgrades and support. I have written confirmation from Avid about the procedure which I can send on if it helps.

If you do not want to upgrade then as it is perpetual you have the license which is currently at the very latest 12.7 for life and no further payment to Avid is required.
