Re: Recommendation: Miroslav Philharmonik from IK Multimedia
Thanks for posting this...I was really considering picking this one up for quite some time. I've seen it for awhile, but haven't been able to hear it in any detailed demos (besides the website's) I do like the quantum leap stuff but is a bit of a resource hog...not to mention the price. Gonna have to belly up to the digital download

Re: Recommendation: Miroslav Philharmonik from IK Multimedia
I didn't know if you guys were aware, but audiomidi.com has the CE edition of this (a lite version) as one of their "No Brainer" deals for only $15!
And I believe they will be following it up with a special upgrade offer to the full version. http://www.audiomidi.com/cust_search...al-P15655.aspx |

Re: Recommendation: Miroslav Philharmonik from IK Multimedia
Once you buy 1 item from them upgrades and new purchase registrations are quick, simple and direct.
Funny is when you buy electronically it details creating the account first since that's how you get your download software and 1.5G of sounds. What AudioMIDI is selling is not a 30 day trial if you think so you are confused. You have 30 days to process and register the purchase with IK. Also IK normally offer prices that make sense when going from any of it's smaller versions to the full version.

Re: Recommendation: Miroslav Philharmonik from IK Multimedia
And when they first announced this, they also mentioned this:
"Pssst! Get it this month and we'll have a super-secret special next month for Miroslav CE buyers!" |

Re: Recommendation: Miroslav Philharmonik from IK Multimedia
The $15. AudioMIDI deal is not bad if it's all you need though. I mean, If you already have tons of other orchestra content.

Re: Recommendation: Miroslav Philharmonik from IK Multimedia
Don't know why you keep focusing on a non-point.
Why do you think they would ask $195 to upgrade? That's simply not how IK does business so stop throwing it out there to mandate your purchase. Just so you know the Classic version is far more than a trial it's the player a 1.5G of sound. It's simply the library without the redundancy of the larger bundle. You keep calling it a trial which shows you are just trying to mandate your purchase instead of share info since what you are stating is wrong. You keep stating that it would be $195 to upgrade, which again is wrong so the only thing I can see is this. You started a thread to say you were happy with Miroslav. Then you found out there was the chance to get the $139 version for $15. Ever since then you have been trying to batter the Classic to make your purchase look like it makes sense to others. Unfortunately by use of inaccurate info. Do yourself a favor a go back to just saying you are happy with the Miroslav or at least give accurate info. this not to be personal but common be realistic. Re: Recommendation: Miroslav Philharmonik from IK Multimedia
Miroslav Philharmonik "no brainer" deal for $15.00 gets you the CE version via web download.
• 250 sounds, 1 DVD $129 for disc & box CE • 1.5 GB of samples (The CE (Classik) is $129.00 with disc and box delivered.) It is $195 to upgrade to the full version, link posted at bottom. Source: IK Multimedia, Audiomidi.com, Sweetwater Miroslav Philharmonik FULL 2 disc 7 Gb version all said and done with box and discs delivered, $199. • More than 4,200 sounds, 2 DVDs • More than 7 GB of samples Now do the math. Re: Recommendation: Miroslav Philharmonik from IK Multimedia
Wow, you still don't get it do you?
That's not how IK works, they always offer special offers directly to existing customers that are different from typical upgrades. Many times they are even free. They also will give you library expansions for free as well as the bonus $$$ to use on your purchase. They do a lot to give customers an incentive to do more business with them and kee p doing business with them. Makes no sense why anyone who understands IK would buy a typical upgrade instead of seeing what is available to them. It's just how IK works. Your scenario is based on a path that an uninformed customer would take, not someone who has been dealing with them. Again I say be happy with your purchase, but stop trying to mandate it by dogging the $15 deal, which is actually only $4 since they give money ($11) toward your next purchase. You are doing better though since you at least stop calling it a 30 day trial version. Quote:

Re: Recommendation: Miroslav Philharmonik from IK Multimedia
Just to reiterate, This $15. AudioMIDI deal is not a trial. I have it, and it comes with a permanent license. It's limited but not a trial.
