the bluetube is part of presonus' lower line gear...
believe me, you can tell that it is their lower line gear...extremely noisy. But, it can have it's uses: crunching a snare track etc... Just don't get it expecting it to be a workhorse in your setup.

Save up some more cash and get a better pre...I use to have on and like the guy said above, it's noisy as hell! You'd be way better off getting one of those soundcraft 4 channel boards for like $350 or even a mackie...I'm not saying that those mixers are the end all, but they'll sound 10x better than that blue tube...However if you're into the lofi sound, you may like the thing....I'd stay away from it if I were you...
