Default help with I/O setup

I am running HD native, with a OMNI I/O, with a 96 I/O (blueface) running as a slave. I am also using a Presonus Digimax FS, connected via ADAT to the 96 I/O.
PT 10 HD I/O recognizes the ADAT I/O from the Digimax in the hardware setup screen, but when I choose any of the inputs on a track/channel, no sound passes through. The OMNI and the 96 I/O both work fine (inputs and outputs) Any ideas?
thanks in advance

Could it be that on the 96 io, in the hardware setup, the optical input is set to Spidf instead of Adat?

Also, is the Digimax set to external clock?

yes, the digimax is set to external clock, and the 96 I/O is set to AES/EBU as the digital format. The external clock output is set to word clock. The ADAT ins and outs show up in the drop-down menu.
Everything looks fine, and all the ins and outs on the Digimax show up as available in the mix and edit windows, but when i plug a POD HD300 into the front2 (stereo) inputs of the Digimax, nothing happens, and yes, I have the input volume knobs turned up :)
Everything on he HW and in the software indicates everything shold be working.

do you have the ADAT inputs active in the Omni mixer? IOW is that ADAT input one of the eight that's active?
