Help!!! My Bounces Longer than actual session file!

I'm a dj/remixer who has makes no claim to being a recording wizard, but up until recently my bounces were the length of the selection from the session. Than i added an mp3 bounce feature and all of a sudden im getting files that are 3x time the length and SIZE of what they should be! Example: i remix a song that's 3 min long, sometimes it will bounce as a 7-9 minute song that's 22 mb instead of around 8-10. any help would be extremely appreciated.
*ive also tried changing the convert after bounce to convert during bounce to no avail.

Are you selecting the three minutes before bouncing, or are you bouncing without selecting anything? If not selecting anything, maybe there is some extra snip of audio or automation point at the 9 minute mark that's making PT think that the song is 9 minutes long. Try selecting everything between the end of the song and 10 minutes on the time line and delete.

What version of PTLE are you using? There was an MP3 bouncing bug with some of the 7.1.x versions I believe.
