just I bought projectMix but I haven't PT m-powered
I f I bought 002 or 002r or mbox I could have protools LE
I got mbox1 and it was with mbox.
I can not understand is it strange or not?
I payed 1 200 euro for projectMix ----->without logiciel
I payed for Mbox 450 euro ------>with logiciel PT LE

what can I do?I am a student in the sound school and I need to some idea for having M-powered

you're wondering why PTLE comes with an Mbox, or 002, but PTMP doesn't come with the project mix ?!?!

because digi wants us to spend as much $ as possible, i guess.

you can buy M-powered for $250 US.

or do a 30 day trial here.

Incorrect. The ProjectMix works fine with PTle as a controller with PTle6 or 7 (not M-powered software). As a controller only it does not require M-Powered software.

However for those considering the Project Mix as an interface, be advised the analog line inputs are -10 only. This was a major factor in our not keeping one.

You get PTle with the M-Box because it's PT software that MUST have the M-Box to launch. You most likely wouldn't buy the M-box, or any other PT hardware if you were not running Protools.

The ProjectMix can run a variety fo software other than Protools.
