Default Re: Avid's executive resigned today: Christopher C. Gahagan, 51, SVP of Products and

A lot of times an executive who knows he's on the hot seat will look for positions elsewhere. I don't know where he landed, and it's possible he moved up, but it's just as likely he took a CEO job at a much smaller company to avoid the inevitable ax falling.

But not Studio One, because Presonus had a recent change as well (former CSO is the new president, COO moved up to CEO)

Nice to see someone so easily pleased in this world of consumerism.

If Zed can't be happy with 12, no one can be happy with 12!

What's the alternative? To be a cranky internet forum curmudgeon? No thanks. Plenty of those around.

Avid gave Christopher C. Gahagan a lot of shares (over 200,000 shares - Award at $0 per share.) and he sold a lot of them over the last few years, according to Marketwatch and Yahoo's Insider Transactions. Also, other Avid's executives received and sold a lot of Avid's stocks. During the past few years, we (the loyal Avid's customers) have been paying all kind of ridiculous fees to Avid (upgrade fees, ASC phone call fees, hardware upgrade, hardware exchange, annual support fee, etc.).

Let's nip this in the bud before it's degrades into something else.

There's also been a lot of people from AVid who have bought and acquired shares.
