I was looking at those racks, look damn interesting to add a few 500 preamps. And my setup has lots and lots of free ADAT/SMUX ports.

BTW I remember seeing this thread over on the UAD forum: https://uadforum.com/general-discuss...cy-issues.html No idea if you have seen that (or are one of the UAD forum folks posting.)

Some of those folks posting there are on DUC including Matt (https://duc.avid.com/member.php?u=141661). You might want to contact him about what you are seeing.

You still haven't clearly stated what you're trying to do and what the result you're getting is, much less the audio driver you're using and other system details other very helpful people have asked for. I guess you're having trouble figuring out the latency you're getting from your outboard gear? Can't you just play something with a strong attack (e.g. snare sample) through the gear, record the return onto a new track, and measure the difference in samples, from the original attack to the recorded attack?

I cannot parallel. Comb phasing.

I’ve done EVERYTHING I can but it will not work.

Protools NEEDS a ping function.

Honestly, and Im not trying to be an elitist...what you really need is HDX. I havent had to really think about hardware insert issues in well over a decade.
