Re: Free Pro Tools Application - Delete Prefs/Database now V2.3
I just updated the Helper application so it run much faster in OS X 10.5.
I also included a small AppleScript that only delete the Digidesign Databases. Also included is a small video showing how to have this script automatically run at startup. http://www.jcdeshaies.com/ JC |

No, since it's built using AppleScript (I believe) it's Mac only.

Re: Free Pro Tools Application - Delete Prefs/Database now V2.1
May I ask for some instruction. If I am having trouble with my system backing up my current files will not benefit me, correct, I need to delete and then manually reconstruct all preferences and then back up, right

Re: Free Pro Tools Application - Delete Prefs/Database now V2.1
I can't seem to get the Pref Tool to backup my preferences. It doesn't seem to be able to find some of the files. Here's what it says:
AppleScript Error Is: /Users/my name/Library/Preferences/Protools*Pref*: No such file or directory (1) Hmm... So if it can't find them, it probably can't trash them either. Any ideas? **edit** seems A-OK in PT HD8.0.1 |

Re: Free Pro Tools Application - Delete Prefs/Database now V2.1
Maybe some default presets like:
Standard Neo Access Error fixer - selects the Database and Volume folder (I tried talking someone through this over the phone but he kept checking the wrong boxes) and Full Dump - trashes everything

Re: Free Pro Tools Application - Delete Prefs/Database now V2.1
Are we good w/ 2.3 for 8.0.3 or will we need 2.4?
Or are we in a PPC issue? (noting the lack of a 10.6 mention)
